I bought this lens from B&H ($370) for my Sony Z1u. Exellent work. I using EX1 now and don't need this lens. NO Crash. Look like new. Ideal for shooting situations in which zooming isn't needed, the Century Precision Optics - VS-06WA-HDS 0.6x wide-angle converter lens for Sony HDR-FX1 HDV camcorders (bayonet mount) attaches to the front of your video zoom lens for 40% wider angle of view and minimal distortion. It allows partial zooming up to mid-range while in Auto Focus (loses focus beyond 6X). The resulting focal length is 2.7-16.2mm. with increased horizontal angle of view). This converter lens comes with a bayonet mount that attaches with a twist to the front of your HDR-FX1 12X lens.
