We ship by USPS Priority Mail or by UPS Ground in the USA, both insured and trackable methods. USPS Priority Mail costs $4.80 and up, plus insurance starting at $1.70. So many items cost as little as $6.50. We use that primarily for small, inexpensive items. However, we pass along our business discount so it costs even less! In some instances we discount the discount! We generally use UPS Ground for more expensive, large, heavy items. We charge actual shipping, so if the fee we list is more than actual shipping, we refund the difference. In no instance, do we charge more. In some instances, you may pay less than the actual shipping cost! UPS can be delivered only to street addresses, so any item sent to a post office box must go by USPS and we have found they charge significantly more. For international shipments, we use insured Priority Mail International or Express Mail International. NOTE: We used to charge a very small handling fee to offset our rising materials costs. But even with fast-rising fuel costs, we have eliminated that handling charge without reducing the high quality of our packing or speed of shipping. We would like you to be a regular customer! Remember, shipping cost is based on size and weight of the item, not on what you pay for an item. Sometimes shipping will cost more than the item, particularly if its an inexpensive item. That's beyond our control. So if that's a concern, please ask for a shipping cost estimate. We'll be happy to provide it. INSURANCE: Buyer pays insurance which is required on all items. SALES TAX: Ohio residents must pay Ohio State Sales tax, which is determined by destination County, or provide a valid Ohio vendor's license number. Sales tax will be included in the invoice.
